Calls for the program from Navy Diversity offices asking how to bring the program to their bases caught the attention of the senior officers. The program was referred to the Military Leadership Diversity Commission. Creator Pegine Echevarria, MSW was invited to testify to the commission of Armed Forces senior leaders and congressional appointees about engaging white guys and the program White Guys Are Diverse Too™!

Rockwell Collins Hispanic Affinity group wanted to engage employees in diversity. Past attendance to diversity program from non Hispanic employees was low. They achieved their goal – over 80% of attendees were white guys. Several Hispanic employees shared how their children are also ‘white guys’ – this lead to a deeper discussion regarding perceptions and diversity.
