White Guys Are Diverse Too(tm)! helps everyone in your organization improve their engagement and productivity by understanding that diversity includes everyone, even the white guys. The program is an instructor-led program, specifically built to engage participants with a unique blend of theme, humor, team and individual activities, and self-discovery. The objectives of the program are to apply the definition of diversity to white men; to increase their engagement and the engagement of their female and minority co-workers; to educate and inform white guys that they are diverse and to engage everyone in the diversity discussion.

White Guys Are Diverse Too(tm)!

White Guys can’t talk about diversity…until they know they are diverse.
When white guys (and those that work with them) know white guys are diverse, they are more comfortable reaching out to other diverse peers, customers, and clientele.

IN TODAY’S WORLD, DEMOGRAPHICS ARE CHANGING RAPIDLY…IN COUNTRIES, CITIES, COMMUNITIES, AND IN THE WORKPLACE. FOR YEARS, PROGRESSIVE ORGANIZATIONS UNDERSTOOD THE NEED FOR BRIDGING THE FAMILIARITY GAP BETWEEN WORK PEERS. DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION TRAINING HELPED TO ENSURE THAT WOMEN AND MINORITIES FELT ACCEPTED AND EMPOWERED AND THAT ALL EMPLOYEES UNDERSTOOD THE VALUE OF DIVERSITY.

The problem is that an important part of this audience – the “white guys” – has felt excluded from the diversity conversation and has experienced a deep loss of connection and camaraderie with their peers. Their sense of job satisfaction has suffered. Many have simply “checked out”
The result has been a decline in productivity and performance not only from white guys, but from their minority and female counterparts who rely upon them as team members, managers, direct reports and/or mentors. When this happens, teamwork suffers, opportunities are missed, key talent leaves, and the organization’s competitive advantage in the market place is lost.
